Virtual Reailty Lab

St. Francis School Virtual Reality lab provides an experience like no other. Unlike technology we are faced with day in and day out, in which the user’s experiences externally, VR places the user inside the experience itself. You are no longer looking a video of the grand canyon, you are standing there. You are no longer learning about the body in a book, you are traveling through the blood-stream examining cells. Experiences that once were never possible can be made real. In virtual reality, you can travel into space. You can stand in front of a dinosaur that hasn’t walked the planet for 65 million years.

Newline & SMART Boards

Interactive digital whiteboards are featured in our classrooms. Teachers have access to the SMART Exchange for training, resources, and lesson plans tied to SMART Board technology.

ELMO Projectors

Overhead projectors equipped with document cameras allow teachers to project documents and other objects onto the board for students to better see and learn.

Computer Lab

A modern computer lab provides students the opportunity to practice their reading and writing skills while learning computer basics. Students in all grades progress through a sequence of increasingly complex computer skills and applications. Keyboarding, proficiency in basic software applications, responsible internet use, and extension of skills and ideas are the focus of this area.

iPads & Chrome Books

6th through 8th-grade students participate in our 1:1 iPad program which leverages technology for a creative and active learning experience. 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students are 1:1 in the classroom using Chrome Books. 1st and 2nd grades are 1:1 in the classroom with iPads. All of our students have easy access to the latest interactive technology in the classroom.

FACTS SIS (School Information System)

FACTS SIS (School Information System) provides a seamless flow of information between school administrators, teachers, students, and parents. It’s an easy way for parents to stay connected to our school community.
