Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

st-francis-pto-logo

What Is PTO?

  • PTO is a fun and growing group of moms, dads, caregivers, and teachers.
  • PTO is a way for families and the school to work together in a spirit of harmony and teamwork to develop, promote, and protect the vision, mission, and values of the school.

What Does PTO Do?

PTO is a group of parents and teachers and is intended to be a vehicle by which families and the school can work together in a spirit of harmony and teamwork to develop, promote, and protect the vision and mission of the school.

Throughout the school year, PTO coordinates programs and services that enhance the quality of the school.

Through fundraisers, this ministry offers financial support to the school in ways that supplement the parish's responsibilities and maintenance and operations of the school and for the materials and supplies necessary for the teaching of our children.

PTO hosts events throughout the school year that foster the family atmosphere between families, school, and parish.

What Can I Do?

Time! Attend PTO meetings!  Bring your thoughts, ideas, and have a vote!  We understand not everyone can attend meetings, but there are many ways a little of your time can make a big difference to our kids!  All time volunteered at PTO events counts towards school service hours.

Talent!  Do you enjoy planning, organizing, leading, decorating, or creating?  Are you more comfortable being behind the scenes or on cleanup team?  Regardless, PTO is a way for your talents to shine while modeling service and stewardship to our children.

Support!  Take advantage of our PTO events.  They are a great way to meet other parents while our children strengthen peer relationships.  Participate in the annual fundraisers.  PTO varies the type of fundraising selected.  We plan fun events like "Crazy Quarters Night" as well as more traditional sales-type activities like selling delicious pizzas.  Whatever you can do is greatly appreciated.
