From Our Pastor: Easter Sunday

Happy Easter! Jesus is risen! What a glorious and amazing message to know the resurrection. I hope this message moves you and excites you to spread this good news to the whole world. Jesus is counting on you to tell the world the good news of the resurrection, and that starts in your hearts, in your homes, in your families, in your workplace, in your friends etc. It starts in our parish and it begins with Sunday mass, which every Sunday celebrates the resurrection.

If this is your first time at St. Francis as a visitor, please know you’re always welcome here. If this is your home, let me tell you how grateful I am for each and every one of you. If Easter is one of your few masses of the year, it’s time to make a change and come back to regular mass. Jesus is counting on you to celebrate the resurrection every Sunday not just because it’s an obligation and a commandment, but because of your love for Him and your gratitude in your heart. We have so much to be grateful for here at Saint Francis, and in each of our lives. He needs you to be here so that you can fall in love with Him all the more and share that love with the world that needs Him.

Welcome to the seven newest members of our parish! You are such a blessing to us. May you all have a happy Easter and a joyous time with family and friends, celebrating the gift of the resurrection today. Please keep in mind why we are celebrating today.
