A Letter From Ms. Lori Shepard, Principal
Dear Members of St. Francis School and Parish Family,
I have been blessed over the years to have had the honor and privilege to work with such wonderful people here at St. Francis in Catholic education. It has been more than a team effort; it has been a family. Our end goal has always been to provide the spiritual guidance, social and emotional support, and academic excellence for each one of our students. I feel the Lord has been with us each step of the way.
The journey has been joyful, yet challenging at times, but always rewarding! I am so very thankful for the many opportunities that the Lord has provided me throughout the years, and as I turn 65 in the near future, I am ready to take a step back and transition into retirement. I will be happy to stay on and take the role of Principal Mentor, as the new Principal steps into the role. I hope to provide a strong foundation for him/her to take the necessary steps to continue to lead St. Francis to the next level of success.
Much progress has been made over the last 9 years since I have been here, but there is still much work to be done. We are always striving to improve at St. Francis, and we will move into the next school year with confidence and assurance that we will continue to provide a quality Catholic education for our students that will enable them to be strong, productive members in our community, and the future leaders of our Church.
I thank you all for the love and support you have shared with me over the years. Thank you to the pastors I have worked with for their tremendous support! I am eager to spend more time with my family, especially my grandson, who is 10 months old! My heart will always hold a special place for St. Francis, and I look forward to supporting the next Principal who will lead us into the future.
Warm Regards,
Lori Shepard, Principal
