ALEX SHIRT FOR ALL SCHOOL MASS
Please have your children wear their Alex’s Wish shirts, with dress code bottoms, for the All School Mass held at QND during Catholic Schools Week on Tuesday, January 31st.
NEW FACES AT ST. FRANCIS
Mrs. Babyak and Mrs. Slough have student teachers from QU in their classroom. Mrs. Slough has Mr. Darrell Cearlock and Mrs. Babyak has Stacy Valentine. We are happy to have them. Please make them feel welcome when you see them.
RIGHT TO LIFE ESSAY WINNERS
The eighth graders entered the Right to Life Essay Contest to support this year’s theme _ “Be An Advocate for Life.” The writing contest was open to students in Adams County. The essay winners came from St. Francis School!

- Honorable Mention – Emily Entrup
Also, the posters that were picked to represent St. Francis School were also chosen as winners!

DINE OUT NIGHT AT PAPA JOHN’S PIZZA
Wednesday, February 1st, make sure to participate in Papa John’s Pizza Night. Your classroom could be the winner of a pizza party! Our school receives a percentage from pizzas sold for the evening. Dial up and order a pizza and enjoy dinner for the evening (222-5252). Be sure to let them know you are from St. Francis School and you would like to designate your order towards a classroom of your choice.
PANCAKE & SAUSAGE BREAKFAST AT ST. PETERS
St. Peters will be hosting their 1st Annual Pancake & Sausage Breakfast and Bake Sale on Sunday, January 29, 2012, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The cost is $5.00 per person, children under 3 are free, family maximum $20.00. Breakfast will be served in the St. Peter Cafeteria. Pancakes, sausage, bacon, coffee, milk and orange juice will be served. Tickets can be purchased at the door. All proceeds benefit St. Peter School.
