2017 “EVERYBODY WINS” MEGA RAFFLE TICKET SALES BEGIN WEDNESDAY, MARCH 29TH

Tickets for the 2017 “EVERYBODY WINS” Mega Raffle will be sent home to nearly 1,000 QCES & QND families on Wednesday, March 29th, 2017. In addition to purchasing Mega Raffle tickets from Quincy Catholic schools’ families, they can also be purchased online at quincymegaraffle.org starting on March 29th. Only 4,000 tickets will be sold at $100 per ticket. The Grand Prize is $100,000; 2nd Prize is your choice of a new 2017 Chevrolet Camaro or a new 2017 Kia Sorrento; and Third Prize is $10,000. There will be 74 prizes given away in all, totaling $167,750. 

NEW THIS YEARThere will be one Super Early-Bird Drawing for $10,000 cash. The “Super Early-Bird” Drawing will be held on Friday, May 12th, on Y101 at 8:10 a.m. Both ticket purchasers and sellers will have their names entered into the “Super Early-Bird” Drawing. To be eligible for the “Super Early-Bird” Drawing, tickets must be purchased and returned to the QND Foundation Office by 4 p.m. on Monday, May 1st.

In addition to the “Super Early-Bird” Drawing on Friday, May 12th, there will be 18 “Early-Bird” Drawings. Five $100 “Weekly Wednesday” Winners will be announced live on Y101 at 8:10 a.m. each Wednesday, from May 17th – 31st, and one $500 “Fantastic Friday” winner will be announced live on at Y101 at 8:10 a.m. each Friday from May 19th – June 2nd. The remaining 55 prizes, including the top three prizes mentioned above, will take place at the “EVERYBODY WINS” Mega Raffle “MEGA EVENT” on Saturday, June 3rd, from 5 – 11 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Grounds on south 36th St.

Proceeds from the “EVERYBODY WINS” Mega Raffle are shared equally between the QCES and QND Foundations, and provide increased tuition assistance for QCES K – 8 students, as well as additional tuition assistance and technology upgrades for QND students. Quincy’s five Catholic schools will also benefit from the $40,000 “Ticket Give Back” program. The purchasers of Mega Raffle tickets can choose if they want $10 of their ticket to be given to one school or divided equally among two or more schools.

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. You need not be present to win. SICK CHILD: If your child is ill or going miss school for other reasons, please call the office even if you have contacted the teacher through other means. Please note that if your child has a fever, they cannot return to school until they are fever free for 24 hours WITHOUT medication. If your child is sick for 3 days or more, a doctor’s note will be required on letterhead. Thank you for your cooperation.

Lunch Bills: If you are NOT receiving a bill through your email account, please contact the school office.  All lunch bills are sent through RenWeb.  Please check your spam/junk mail folder as well.  Thanks!

REGISTRATION: Please make sure you have your lunch account, extended care, and outstanding tuition paid in full in order to re-register for the 2017- 2018 school year.  Also, if you would like to know how many service hours you have completed please call the school office.

BINGO PRIZE DONATION: Parish Picnic Bingo is in need of prizes.  If you would like to donate a prize, please drop it off in the school office.  Anyone who donates will be allowed to have a jean day on March 31st.  Any questions, please call the school office.  Thanks for your help!

Come join the fun at our “Parents Night Out: Parents, gather your friends together next Saturday night, April 1st, for “Parents Night Out”!  It’s a Red, White and Blue Rendezvous in our school gym, 7-11 p.m.  Bring your own beverage and snacks, dance and play some games.  Cost $25 per couple/$15 single at the door.  And don’t forget about our Cardinals/Cubs raffle!  This $500 package is only $25 per chance!  It’s going to be a great night! QND Spring Show tickets now on sale!

16th Annual Raider Challenge 5K Run or Walk, 10K Run and 1 mile Youth Run, June 24th, 7:30 beginning and ending at QND. Runs and walks include South Park and Indian Mounds Park. Parent /Teacher Survey:  The school board would like to thank you for completing the parent survey. If you haven’t had a chance yet, please take a few minutes to submit your input.
