St. Francis School News – October 27, 2017

Congratulations!– We are proud to announce that Jamie Marshall and Maureen Makarewicz were awarded a $250 grant from the Western Catholic Union Quincy Branch for participating in the “Classroom Assistance Program.”  Out of the six grants awarded, St. Francis was blessed to receive two of them!  There were 17 grant applications submitted in all. Jamie Marshall’s first grade class will be able to purchase a 14” Boogie Board Jot 4.5 LCD eWriter Clear View for classroom use, and Maureen Makarewicz’s class will be able to purchase a robot and a drone for use to enhance the STEM program in Kindergarten!  We are so very excited about this wonderful news and thank Andy Flachs, CAP Chairman, from the WCU program.  This will be such a blessing to these two classrooms and we greatly appreciate their generosity to our students and our school!
