St. Francis School News – November 9, 2018

Lunch / After Care: bills for these accounts are emailed or given out each month.  These are two different accounts in our system.  These bills must be paid separately and not combined into one check. The office does not have any way to divide these bills. Thank you for your understanding.

Special Event monies: (skating, field trips, etc.) : please give exact change when paying for these events, the office does not have the option of giving back change.

Positions Open:  We have an open position for a part-time Kindergarten Aide as well as a part-time Librarian.  Interested applicants should have a Para Educator License.  Applications may be sent on line to Lori Shepard at St. Francis Solanus ([email protected]) or mailed to St. Francis Solanus School, 1720 College Avenue, Quincy, Il. 62301.


We have an immediate opening in our after school daycare.  Candidates should have a balanced personality and love to work with children.  Applicants may send resumes to Lori Shepard at or St. Francis School, 1720 College Avenue, Quincy, Illinois.  Hours may vary depending on the number of children each day.

OPENING IN DAYCARE: St. Peter School is in need of hiring for the after school daycare program.  Interested applicants should contact Mrs. Judy Domme at 217-242-1910.  Resumes can be mailed to St. Peter School, 2500 Maine, Quincy, IL 62301 or emailed to [email protected].

Playground Duty: this list is printed on the back of each lunch menu.  If you cannot make your “shift” please find a sub, or pay the $10 for the sub and let the office know as soon as possible.  Up to 6 volunteers are needed daily.  Thank you for your help.

Papa Murphy Coupon Cards:  are for sale in the school office if anyone is interested in purchasing one.  They are $5.00 each and have 8 peel-off coupons. 8th grade Thanks you.

YEARBOOKS: are for sale until March 22, 2019.  Order forms are in the office. Please note, yearbooks are sold separately from picture orders. They are $12.00 each.  They can be purchased on line through LifeTouch.

CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS:  The 8th grade is selling ornaments as part as a fundraiser for their trip in May. They are gold with a brown logo and year.  Each ornament is $6.00. Limited quantities.  Please call the school office if you would like to see a sample or purchase one.  Thank you for your support!

November 14th: Cookie Dough delivery after school in gameroom

November 14th: PTO Meeting in Parish Center at 6:00 p.m.

November 21-23rd: Thanksgiving Break
