St. Francis School News – May 11, 2018

A Special Thank You!

As many of you know, my mother passed away recently and the outpouring of support has been overwhelming and very much appreciated. I can never repay all of you, but I wanted you to know that it meant the world to me.   I would like to thank Father Don for anointing my mother the week before she passed away, which gave her such peace.  She was so grateful for his compassion and tenderness while sharing the Sacrament with her. I was blessed to witness and be a part of that prayerful experience.  I greatly appreciated Father Don, Father Bob, and Mike Holbrook praying with me before my mother’s funeral, which gave me such strength.  And finally, I would like to thank all teachers, staff members, parents, and students for their kindness and words of support this past week.  I received so many beautiful cards and letters that filled my heart with joy. I also appreciated those of you who made the 40 minute trip to Mt. Sterling to share a hug during the visitation or funeral.  I am so blessed and honored to be a part of this St. Francis Family.

Lori Shepard, Principal

Class Rosters for 2018-2019

As a reminder, we do not take teacher requests for your child.  We have a systematic objective process that will balance the gender and skill set of the children in the class.  Teachers do have input to resolve any potential conflicts and I value their expertise in this area.

Thank you for your support in advance,

Lori Shepard, Principal
