BACON TIME!!! Yes, I’m at it again. Time for round 3! Anybody who wants bacon it’s the same as last time. $10 per lb, packaged and frozen. Its hardwood homemade bacon, smoked and cured. All you have to do is fry it up and enjoy it! Last time we did 125 lbs….this time I’m shooting for 200 lbs. Takes about 2 weeks to make the bacon. Funds from this will be going to the purchase of a new riding/zero turn mower to maintain the St Francis Hills Boy Scout property. Troop 22 which our St Francis Troop.uses this property extensively, in fact we will be camping there this weekend. I’m taking over those duties and we need the equipment ASAP. Call or text Shane McDermott with your orders! 217-242-1125.

Law Day– We would like to thank Jamie Friye and Saleem Mamdari for organizing our Law Day for all students in the QCES 6th grade classes.  It was held on May 3 in the Parish Center at St. Francis.  Students were invited to participate in the jury, and observed a mock trial that was part of a presentation by several Adams County lawyers.  After the trial, students moved to the parking lot for a demonstration by the K9 Unit, and learned more information about our law enforcement system.  It was an educational and enjoyable morning for all involved.  We greatly appreciate the service of the panel that took time out of their busy day to share this valuable information with our students.  We also were very impressed by the police officers and their dogs.  God bless them for their service to our community!
