St. Francis School News – April 6, 2018

GENE GRAWE SCHOLASHIP FORMS: Please turn them in to the Gene Grawe Office at St. Peter Church by April 15th.  Thank you.

FACTS Financial Aid: the site is up and ready. It was sent out in an email and is on the school website.  This is all done on-line now. There is NO paper copy to fill out and mail in.  All applications are due April 6th, 2018.

Quincy Track Club meeting on April 8 at 7:00 p.m. in the St. Francis Parish Center.  This is open for all students in both Grade and High schools. Kerry Anders will be there to answer any questions and to get people signed up. This is an AAU program. Website is for more information prior to meeting.

Reminder: With the nicer weather we will be going outside more for recess. Dress accordingly.

Service Hours:  All service hours must be completed by May 1st.  Please stop by the office or check RenWeb to make sure how many hours are completed.  A $10.00 per hour will be charged if not completed and report cards/ records will be held until paid in full or fulfilled.  Let the office know if you have completed hours that go beyond playground duty. Thank you for your cooperation!

St. Peter Chess Tournament: Saturday, April 14th at St. Peter School cafeteria.  Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. with play beginning at 8:30 and should conclude around 1:00 p.m.  All players grades K-8 are welcome.  Cost is $5.00 per child.  For more information contact Chris Gill at 217-228-3278 or [email protected].

The “Everybody Wins” Mega Raffle is off to a very good start. As of Wednesday, April 3rd, we have sold over 1,025 tickets. Please keep in mind in order to qualify for the Super Early Bird Drawing on May 11th for $10,000, you MUST have your ticket turned in by no later than 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1st.

Looking to hire for the St. Peter School After School Program:   We have an immediate opening in our After School Daycare Program.  If interested, please contact Mrs. Judy Domme at 217-224-4265.

Blessed Sacrament Catholic School is seeking an After School Daycare Program Coordinator for the 2018-2019 school year.  This program operates every full school day from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.  Interested persons should contact Christie Bliven @ 228-1477 or [email protected].
